The Album is three metal cases each of which has a survey of recording formats inside. The idea was to see how different media formats influence different kinds of musical recordings. For example, how a recording for a Edison Cylinder adopts a set of rules that are different to those used for a DVD. Although that might seem obvious, it was worth documenting how one artist might go about making different kinds of albums. This was a university project which I hope may provide some entertainment for the casual browser.
