Music Sketches. 21 October 2008.Regions of the aerodrom have music themes. Each requires a general version for just looking around and special versions for specific activity inside the region. These sketches mix together sounds that would mixed live by player movements in the actual 'game' and so they are only indicative of a potential mix in the area. There's more tweaking needed as well. Front Gate is the general theme for the front entrance of the aerodrom. You can't get in this way as the gates are locked and there's carnage piled up around the roadway. This is a section where the audience has to find a way in. Behind the 'player' is desert, with natural sounds. Guard House is a security building near the perimeter of the building. There's several rooms in the building, in this mix we start in a corridor and then enter a room with three radio receivers laid along one wall. They are tuned to signals coming from the Control Tower, which is our long term goal. Before anyone starts any legal BS - the 'numbers stations' here are completely manufactured by myself. Tarmac is a theme for when we are on the ground between planes. It's an intermission theme and likely the main theme for the 'game'. Proceed To Gate 3 is a mix of the general atmosphere of the derelict departures area where prerecorded messages continue to roll after many years. In the 'game' you would likely not hear them all so consistently. Near the end we switch to a theme for the player reaching Gate 3, where a particular message becomes prominent. This message would likely be more disturbed than heard here. The intent is to confirm that Gate 3 is the correct way out of this area (others are dangerous or not available). Will be updated.
